Recipe: Prawn and Marie Rose open sandwich on Organic Ancient Grains Sourdough

Try this light bite for a fresh take on an old classic. Perfect for lunches or starters.

175g Cooked and Peeled Cold Water Prawns
150g Cooked and Peeled King Prawns
Organic Ancient Grains Sourdough
Cotswold Butter, softened
Marie Rose sauce
Pea shoots
1 whole lemon
Sea salt and cracked black pepper, to season

Pea shoots
Cherry tomatoes on the vine

  1. Mix your prawns, squeeze over some lemon juice and lightly dress with the Marie Rose. Do not add too much!
  2. Slice the Organic Ancient Grains Sourdough to around 1.5cm thickness and butter lightly with the Cotswold Butter.
  3. Using a tablespoon, place your prawns on to the bread – too much and it’s hard to pick up and eat.
  4. Sprinkle over some pea shoots.
