The smaller cousin of plaice and flounder, dabs are a versatile and delicious fish that can be grilled, baked, or rolled in seasoned flour and pan-fried. Fillets should be floured and pan-fried or poached for best results. They go superbly with garlic, capers and butter. As these are wild we cannot always guarantee that enough fish will be caught to complete orders. If we are short we will notify you as soon as possible and either offer alternative products or a refund.

Stevenson’s is intrinsic to the fishing port of Newlyn in Cornwall. Stevenson’s is a family-run fishing and fish processing business dating back to the early 1900s. With its own fleet of fishing vessels, Stevenson’s has access to the freshest South West fish available. It also holds the license to run the Newlyn fish market, which is immensely valuable to the way of life of the fishing town.
Stevenson’s boats land fresh, Cornish fish into Newlyn harbour daily. The fishery works closely with trusted suppliers from the UK and further afield to ensure it brings in sustainably sourced fish specimens that are not available in UK waters.
