When the local baker on the Isle of Mull, in Scotland, was retiring, Joe and Dawn started making bread in their converted garage. 2 years later they bought a shop which became Island Bakery Delicatessen and they realised there was a gap in the market for tempting organic biscuits .
In 2007, with their biscuit business doing so well they sold their shop and started planning their factory. By 2012 their factory was completed, powered by local renewable energy and wood heated ovens
