Also known as Cornish sole, this delicious fish is highly valued in Spain for its wonderfully soft, tender pale flesh. To get the best out of Cornish sole, try pan-frying with a squeeze of lemon or grilling it and serving with a fresh salad. Stevenson’s is intrinsic to the fishing port of Newlyn in Cornwall. Stevenson’s is a family-run fishing and fish processing business dating back to the early 1900s. With its own fleet of fishing vessels, Stevenson’s has access to the freshest South West fish available. It also holds the license to run the Newlyn fish market, which is immensely valuable to the way of life of the fishing town.
Stevenson’s boats land fresh, Cornish fish into Newlyn harbour daily. The fishery works closely with trusted suppliers from the UK and further afield to ensure it brings in sustainably sourced fish specimens that are not available in UK waters.
