The Cheese Merchant was founded by George Lang, who grew up on a Somerset dairy farm and saw first-hand the struggles that British dairy farmers went through. After training as a chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant, George set up The Cheese Merchant in 2017 to supply the highest quality produce with the best possible service.
Like us, George is passionate about connecting discerning foodies with small artisan producers from across the country. Every craft cheesemaker uses fresh, quality produce and is committed to the highest animal welfare standards.
